Pevnick is joining TMA from the at the Gettyg Villain Malibu, Calif. He remains co-curator of its upcominy The Chimaera ofArezzo exhibition, whicb opens in July. In his new role, Pevnick will desigh and oversee the installation of the permanent collectionn in the Barbara and Costas Lemonopouloz Greek andRoman Gallery. He also will organizse and circulate Greek andRoman exhibitions, perform and publish research on the collection, and educate the publifc on the museum’s antiquities collection. Pevnickl is a doctoral candidate in the Interdepartmental Graduatde Program of the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology in Los He received a master of arts degre e in archaeologyat U.C.

The 66,000-square-foott Cornelia Corbett Center building is set to open inearly 2010. TMA’sx interim facility is located onHoward Avenue.
